Our story was born from a simple idea: to turn waste into heat while also protecting Finland’s forests.
Our Story
Every day, countless kilograms of coffee grounds are thrown away. But what if they weren’t? This question sparked the idea for Paahtu. Our founder Bahez and his wife, took this challenge to their kitchen, where they worked to prove that with a little innovation, waste could become a valuable resource. The result of their effort became our first product, Kahviklapi.
