AGENDA 2030
Agenda 2030 is the UN’s sustainable development action plan, adopted in 2015. Its core content consists of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at eradicating poverty, protecting the environment, and ensuring well-being for all by 2030. These goals broadly cover social, economic, and environmental aspects and are designed to guide global and national efforts towards a sustainable future.
Paahtu’s business idea originated from the desire to create a company that genuinely promotes the circular economy and operates responsibly in all its aspects. The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals provide clear guidelines for our operations, and we are committed not only to adhering to these goals but also to enhancing their implementation within our company.
Below, you can read more about which goals our company’s activities impact, and how.

We want to be part of a sustainable future by creating jobs in the circular economy industry. We hope to offer responsible employment opportunities to many others in the future.
Sustainable development is the foundation of our company. By recycling used coffee grounds, we contribute to sustainability and create an ecological community around our business. We collaborate with various institutions to raise awareness about the circular economy.

Saving forests also impacts other aspects of terrestrial life. Forests are home to many animals, a crucial carbon sink, and a vital producer of oxygen. Preserving forests also enhances human well-being, both mentally and physically.
