Paahtu is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected or received personal data from a child under 16 without verified parental consent, we will delete such information.

Data protection

All personal data is protected against unauthorized access and accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, transfer, or other unlawful processing.

Paahtu stores customer data within the EU. Our web server is located in Finland, and the technical security and process security of our e-commerce system are of a very high standard. Our servers are protected against data breaches and denial-of-service attacks.

In the processing of personal data and technical solutions, we adhere to good data protection practices. The processing of personal data complies with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which has been in force since May 25, 2018. All access to personal data is monitored according to best practices.

Who Processes My Personal Data?

Only Paahtu employees have access to customer data, and our staff is trained to use the data securely and ethically. Each staff member only sees customer data to the extent necessary for performing their duties.

We use trusted contractual partners, which means that data may be transferred to third parties. All agreements with partners comply with the requirements of the EU GDPR and other legislation. How Long Is My Data Retained?

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Additionally, some data may be retained longer as required by law, such as for accounting and consumer trade responsibilities, and to demonstrate compliance with such obligations.

Upon customer request, personal data can be deleted or anonymized from Paahtu’s systems. The deletion and anonymization process is irreversible, and we cannot restore deleted customer accounts.

Certain data is required to be retained longer by law, including for the following purposes:

Delivery Terms

Order Process

You can make purchases directly through our online store. To order products online, browse our selection, add the desired products to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Prices are listed in euros and include VAT. Please note that we reserve the right to change prices if necessary. Once you have completed your payment, the agreed price is locked in.

Payment Service Provider

The payment processing service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient on your bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. For complaints, please contact the product supplier first.

Delivery Methods

Our partner Posti delivers your order to the nearest pickup point. Orders usually arrive within 3–5 business days. The delivery fee is €5.90.

Customers have the option to specify a delivery address other than their home address, such as a summer cottage, workplace, or another recipient, during the ordering process.

Returns

When you receive your purchase, it is important to check for any damage or errors in the shipment. If you notice any issues, please inform us immediately so we can resolve the matter quickly.

If a product is returned due to damage during transport or a defect in the product itself, the customer will receive a full refund, including the purchase price. If the return is for other reasons, such as a change of mind, the refund will exclude shipping costs. Products must be returned within 30 days of purchase in their original packaging.

Product Storage Instructions

Coffee logs should be stored in a cool place (maximum 22°C), in a dry location, away from direct sunlight and moisture. They should be kept in a well-ventilated space to maintain their quality and performance. Additionally, ensure that the logs are stored safely, away from potential ignition sources or fire hazards.
